How Can swelling And Pain In The Shin Be Treated?

I tripped over a curb yesterday 27 hours ago. My shin instantly started to swell just on my left side of my left shin. When I got home I noticed swelling but not bruising just pain on my left side of shin I did end up with a blue bruise on my knee cap

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to hematoma formation. It is better to have a x ray of the area to rule out bony injuries. You can apply ice packs for hematoma.
